Our Story
From a single harvest to a regional ambition.
AMRI International Grains LTD was founded in Mbale, Eastern Uganda, with a simple conviction: that Ugandan rice deserves a premium standard. We began by partnering directly with local farmers, selecting the finest Super and Kaiso paddy and processing it with modern hulling, destoning and polishing equipment.
Today we supply homes, schools, hospitals, hotels, supermarkets and rice dealers across Mbale City and the surrounding districts — with a 2027 export vision reaching South Sudan, Kenya, Congo and South Africa.
We are a company rooted locally but built to go international — carrying the dignity of Ugandan agriculture to regional and global tables.
